Galileo, Remote Controlled iPhone Mount...WOWSER

I tend not to write too much about tech stuff here, but this was TOOOO COOL not to post.  Check out Galileo, an amazing new accessory for the iPhone.  Remote mount controlled from an iPad or computer this will allow better video presence everywhere.  Set to be released at the end of April, if you contribute $85 beforehand, you can get your hands on one in either black or white (almost a $50 discount off expected retail price).

Check out the video below and DEF check out their KickStarter for more info

Wayne White, Beauty is Embarrassing

Yes, yes and triple YES!  I grew up on his artwork, am still astounded by his talent, and I can't wait to see this.  The infamous Wayne White.  He designed and created all the sets/artwork for Pee Wee's Playhouse, and he helped create a number of famous music videos, including Peter Gabriels "Big Time," and The Smashing Pumpkins "Tonight, Tonight" based on the works of George Milies.  In addition he makes amazing paintings, he plays music, he is truly an artist unwilling to be cornered.  The documentary premieres at SXSW this year, and I can only hope it will show nation wide after that.

Michael Winslow Reminds us he is STILL cooler than US

Talk show host being reminded of the truth

Appearing on a Norweigen Talk show, Michael Winslow reminds us how he is still cooler than us all. With only an acoustic guitar backup, he recreates Led Zepplin's Whole Lotta Love flawlessly.

Truly masterful visual representation of Jazz music.

Created by Michel Gagne in 2010, Sensology visualizes a duo between, Pianist Paul Plimley and Bassist Barry Guy, 2 great jazz musicians. Gagne is well known throughout animation circles for his involvement in tons of great movies over the years including one of my favorites, The Iron Giant.

Watch and enjoy, and check out the links below for more info on the short film and Gagne

Sweet Short Video

been too long

awesome visual short by Kim Pimmel

Kim Pimmel explains "I combined everyday soap bubbles with exotic ferrofluid liquid to create an eerie tale, using macro lenses and time lapse techniques. Black ferrofluid and dye race through bubble structures, drawn through by the invisible forces of capillary action and magnetism. "

Awesome Documentary about Spoken Word

Just watched this amazing short documtary on Spoken Word, Spitting Ink .  Its a great portrait of  8 artists giving their insight and belief about many subjects including but not limited to spoken word.  And the best part for me was seeing the small part with Rammellzee, who was an insane talent.  If you are in LA you can see a whole room of his graffiti/art work at the Art in the Streets MOCA show.  I barely knew much of that work so it was so great to hear him rhyme and speak in this documentary.

ENJOY and happy FRIDAY!
